It has a quite addicting taste and is very popular as a snack in the Amethyst Kingdom. The berry is magenta and purple and has a very dry and slightly sweet taste. The outside is hard, and the inside is brown and chewy, yet still quite tough. It is thought to be made of condensed psychic energy

The berry is also used to make boba tea, a popular drink in the Amethyst Kingdom.

This berry can be used for cooking, but the hallucination causing chemicals need to be removed first. The berry tastes bitter, and is an acquired taste.

Many horror stories have been told of pokemon in the forest seeing objects move mysteriously around, and sometimes even being used to attack pokemon, with the enchord berry being the only other living thing around, glowing with an eerie psychic glow.
