Deep in the mushroom canyon, at seemingly dead end, is a place of stone relics, with strange purple gems on small pillars. When these gems glow, corrupted pokemon seem to randomly be reanimated. It is a very dangerous place to explore, but it has a cave opening that leads deep underground into the canyons

The rare Sangeis Berry grows here. This strange berry seems to actually be summoned by the relics themselves, the plant erupting out of the grown when the relics glow. Eventually this berry will start to grow from the plant, at an alarming pace. If one allows the berry to grow too long, it will eventually come alive, morphing into a creepy face of ghostly purple energy, attacking whatever unsespecting pokemon has the misfortune of entering this area.

If picked before the berry grows to large, one can harvest the berry, and it will not morph. The berry is quite bitter and relatively spicy. Some pokemon believe this berry will place a curse on the one that consumes it, but despite the creepy nature of this berry, there is no evidence to suggest this is the case
