Phantasmal Forest

Basic info

A strange and creepy shadowy forest. The forest is located in the very north of the Wisteria Gardens, and seems to be perpetually cool and dark, even on the hottest days of summer. However sometimes it seems to not exist, other times it does. It appears to manifest only for those with the intent to enter it, or accidentally through subconscious fear, often due to being alone in the forest. It was once theorized that this forest didn’t even exist, and was just some sort of illusion formed out of fear or anticipation of its existence, that only existed in the minds of others because they believed that it did. However, this theory mostly fell apart once a unique berry (Appaurana berry) that only grows here was discovered, and could be brought back to Zirconia.
